Changing the Event Image
The image displayed within the app as the event image can be changed by navigating to:
Settings > Defaults and uploading an 'Event Image'
This image is used for all events within the app.
Volunteer Unable to Check In
For a volunteer to be able to check into an event from the app, they must have already satisfied the following items:
- No missing user form questions
- All required waivers must already be signed
- Event Registration Question answered (if one is set for the event)
Should any of the above be pending for a volunteer, they receive an error that they can not check in and must find an administrator.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the app allow administrator access?
No, the app is only volunteer facing. For administrative tasks you must access the site. - Can I still use the website on my phone without the app?
Yes, VolunteerHub continues to support the site as a Progressive Web App (PWA), which scales to mobile devices both on the Volunteer View as well as Admin View. - When would we use the mobile app vs the web (PWA)?
The app is for events on the current day that the volunteer has already registered for and allows checking in. The web (PWA) allows the full functionality of VolunteerHub.
