The Check-In Code is a daily 6-digit code which allows volunteers to check-in to events from their phone.  This feature is only available on sites which have Kiosk and is turned off by default.  


The Check-In Code is not compatible with the Label Printer Integration.

Enabling the Check-In Code

  1. Navigate to Settings > Site Settings
  2. Scroll to 'Hour Tracking'
  3. Toggle the Check-In Code option to 'Yes'
     
  4. Click 'Save'


Obtaining the Code

Administrators can obtain the code from either Onsite or the QR Code.


1.  Onsite

The Check-In Code is visible within the top navigation bar.

2.  QR Code

The Check-In Code displays on the sheet generated with the QR Code.


Obtaining the Check-In Code via QR Code generation allows for obtaining the codes for future dates.





Volunteer Check-In

Once a Volunteer has registered for an event, they'll have the option to check-in via the code:

  1. Navigate to the organization's VolunteerHub page
  2. Click My Schedule
  3. Locate the Event and click the 'Check In' on the right

  4. Enter the 6-digit code of the day provided by an administrator, then press 'Next'

  5. The volunteer is now checked in to the event

Volunteer Check-Out

If your site has hours granted on check-out, have the volunteer do the following:

  1. Navigate to the organization's VolunteerHub page
  2. Click My Schedule
  3. Locate the Event and click the 'Check Out' on the right

  4. Click 'Next'


  5. The volunteer is now checked out of the event
