Yes. Users who no-show to an event will be registered but will have zero hours tracked for the event. There are a couple ways you can track whether a volunteer received hours and/or checked into an event:

Tracking No-Shows for a Specific Event

If you want to track no-shows for a specific event, navigate to the event and click on the Record Hours button. If the user's hours are blank, that means they either no-showed or forgot to check in.

Tracking No-Shows for Several Events at Once

If you want to track no-shows across a number of events at once, run one of the following reports:

  • Event Participation by User (useful if also reporting on unique users registered for the events). If you want to view no-shows only, export the report into Excel, delete the top three header rows and the bottom (Totals) row and filter the Hours column to show only "0" and "Blanks."
  • Event Registrations (useful if you want more detail about the events or users). If you want to view no-shows only, export the report into Excel and filter the User Hours column to show only "0" and "Blanks."
