Sign in via Email Address & New 'Magic Link' Sign In Option
Many organizations have expressed a common volunteer complaint that they often can't remember their username and/or password.
Sign in Via Email Address
Because multiple volunteers can have the same email address, previously the first step to sign in was to provide a username which had to be unique to each user. The username could have been set up as an email address, but it didn't have to be.
The Sign In prompt now accepts Email or Username:
*Note: if the user enters an email address, and if more than 1 user has the same email address, and then the user enters a password, the system will sign them into whichever account uses that password.
Prompt for Magic Link
Once the user enters their email address or username they are presented with this page:
They could choose to click 'Sign in with Password', where they enter their password and are signed in.
Alternatively, the system sends them an email with a link to sign in:
If they click the link in the email, the system will sign them into VolunteerHub without the need for a password.
If more than one user has that email address, they are given a page to select which profile they wanted to use:
Once they click on a profile, it signs them into that account.
Custom Reports | Column Chooser Displays by Default
The Column Chooser allows for adding or removing fields from Custom Reports. Previously, the Column Chooser defaulted to not being displayed until the button was clicked:
The Column Chooser now defaults to being displayed when first accessing any Custom Report (though can be closed).
