For plans with the Volunteer Recognition Module, a feature has been added to manually reset point values to zero.
Use-case: Some organizations utilizing points wish to reset everyone's points yearly, as opposed to volunteers accruing points endlessly.
NOTE: This action cannot be undone.
• If a user has negative number of points, the system adds enough to set to 0
• If a user has positive number of points, the system subtracts enough to set to 0
• If a user already has 0 points, no action is taken
Resetting Points:
1. From the Users page, click the ellipsis next to the Email button and select 'Reset Points'.
2. Click 'Reset Points' to reset all filtered users to zero. This action resets their current points to zero, but maintains the history of the points they had accrued.
If you do not wish to reset all users to zero points, utilize the filtering options on the Users Page to select only the users who should be reset.
Volunteer Security Updates
Password Requirements:
Volunteers' passwords must now be different from their username, be at least 6 characters long, and contain an uppercase, a lowercase, and a number.
Accounts not meeting these requirements will be prompted to update their password upon next login.
Email Requirements:
The system will not allow existing users with obviously fake email addresses to sign in to an account.
Examples:
• test@test.com
• email@email.com
Any existing accounts with fake email addresses would need to be reset by an administrator and a real email entered.
Limited Administrator Permissions Changes
Previously the following administrator access rights were all tied to the same permission:
• Editing Site Settings
• Generating QR Check In Codes
• Accessing the Uploads Page
If a limited administrator needed to generate QR Codes, they had to be given access to all three above.
Now all three are now individual permissions, allowing greater flexibility in what access rights administrators can be granted.
Should you need to update any of your existing groups, please contact Support.
Bug Fixes:
Email Opt-Out Workflow Emails
Users who opt out of "Occasional Newsletters and Announcements" no longer receive workflow emails.
Posting to Facebook
Landing Page Short Links posted to Facebook are now properly redirecting.
