Workflow Trigger for a User Turning a Specific Age
The 'User Has Birthday' trigger now contains an optional setting for specifying the age the user is turning.
This is most helpful for organization with additional onboarding requirements for Adults vs. Minors and need existing minors to complete that step(s) upon turning 18.
Example, when any user turns 18, put them into the background check process:
NOTE: Waivers already differentiate based on age, so no workflows are needed for that functionality.
Events Page Refresh
Calendar View
When viewing the Events Page in Calendar View, it now jumps to the current week automatically. Day of the week headers now stick to the top as you scroll.
Date Range Filters
Custom Date Range now appears at the top and is not pre-filled. Custom Date Ranges now no longer require an end date. Simply inputting any date brings you to starting on that date and loads all events after it.
Additional Filters
The additional filters are now to the left of the Date Range filter. The format of the filtering options has been updated to make finding common filters easier.
Selecting a filter adds it to the top row.
Clicking on it allows for filtering based on that criteria.
Clicking the reset icon for a filter resets that filter's options. Clicking 'Reset All' removes all filters.
Event Day Filter for Event Registrations & Event Cancellations Reports
Within the 'Filters' dropdown 'Event Day' is now an option for both the Event Registrations and Event Cancellations Reports.
This filter allows for selecting specific days-of-the-week within the report.
Workflow & Report Filters
Filtering options for the Workflows page and within Custom Reports now also have this updated format.
Update to Waiver Settings
All waivers are now triggered by event registration. Previously waivers set as 'site-wide' (from within the Site Settings Page) would trigger as soon as the user accessed the page.
The system bundles the waiver into the event registration flow. Adults still must agree to the waiver prior to registering for their first event.
Signed Waiver Requirement
This new option applies to minors and dictates when their 'site-wide' waiver is to be completed.
Before event registration
This setting does not impact adults.
Youth waivers must be set to digital for this option.
Minors will not be able to be registered for an event prior to their parent/guardian accepting the waiver.
This option mirrors the previous functionality of requiring all waivers to always be accepted before a user can be registered for an event.
Before checking in to event
This setting does not impact adults.
Youth waivers may be set to digital, print, or both.
Minors can register for the event prior to the waiver being accepted but must have it completed in order to check in to the event.
The biggest thing this changes is likely for organizations who require printed minor waivers. Previously if the waiver was set 'site-wide', minors needed to physically deliver the waiver prior to being able to register for their first event. Now it's possible for them to register for their first event (e.g. orientation), and bring the signed waiver with them.
Personalize Email Field: 'Total Hours'
The 'Personalize' dropdown within email boxes now allows for adding a 'Total Hours' field. This will insert the number of total volunteer hours for each user.
The primary use-case for this is likely within the 'Thank-You Email' for events to encourage volunteers and/or allow them an easier way to keep track of their total hours:
Rich Text Banner Images
For images inserted into the "rich text" box of a Landing Page, an option for setting the image size to 100% has been added. This option scales properly regardless of device size (i.e. computer screens and phone screens).
Registration Totals by User
Email Button
Similar to the Users Report, the Registration Totals by User report now also has the ability to send an email to the users displayed within the report.
Email Column
'Email Address' is now an insertable column within the Registration Totals by User report.
Users Report: Additional Columns
The following options are now available within the column chooser for the 'Users' report:
File Uploads
'NAME OF QUESTION - Filename' : displays the name of the file the user uploaded
'NAME OF QUESTION - Expiration Date' : displays the date the file expires if one was set
Total Donations (if included with plan)
Background Screening Report URL (if included with plan)
Searching Users by Phone Number
On the Users page, the 'Find in this list' search box now accepts phone numbers as a searchable input.
Bug Fixes
Within Volunteer View, when you've scrolled down to a future date and clicked on an Event, you can click BACK in the browser and it returns you to your previous position.
Events taking place today no longer disappear from the Admin Events list after they have ended.
When emailing from the Events page, it gives an exact number and not ' the total number of users being emailed will be displayed when it's over 1000 users.
Browsers with their language set to "English (Canada)" should display dates in the correct format.
